Fire Chief Adam Fulbright

In May of 2023, Tedd Hendershot stepped down and Adam Fulbright assumed the role and responsibilities of Fire Chief for the Chehalis Fire Department. Chief Fulbright is a Washington native and comes with extensive experience and knowledge, having previously served as Fire Chief and in other leadership roles throughout his fire service career. 

His career began as a volunteer with the City of Ocean Shores Fire Department at 19 years of age. Within two years he was hired as a part-time Firefighter/EMT and in October of 1998 received full-time employment as Firefighter/Paramedic with Ocean Shores. He was later hired as a Fire Captain with Gray's Harbor Fire District 5 and promoted the rest of the way through the ranks to Fire Chief.
