The City of Chehalis Public Works Department is accepting applications for a Storm/Wastewater Collection Specialist.
This position performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in the cleaning, maintenance, repair, and care of the city’s storm and/or sanitary sewer collection/drainage systems and maintenance of other Public Works infrastructure. Work involves the use and operation of specialized sewer/storm line jetting and cleaning equipment, and other machinery and equipment required for maintaining and repairing storm and/or sanitary sewer lines and related facilities.

This position is responsible for coordinating and performing a variety of research, permit review, front desk, tracking and technical duties related to the City’s building and planning permit functions. Requires broad knowledge of permit code practices and procedures.
