Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. We are closed on state holidays.
Inspections occur Monday through Friday between 8 am and 12 pm. We do ask that you call or email us at least 48 hours ahead to ensure we have a spot in our schedule. Please call the inspection line at (360) 360-0072. If you reach the voicemail, please provide the permit number or address, type of inspection you're requesting and a good call back number. *Please note* an adult of 18 years and older is required to be present at time of inspection.

PERMITTING & BUILDING
- Provide permits for development activities
- Ensure new development is built according to safety standards
- Keep residents safe by providing code enforcement
- Help to provide guidance for mitigating impacts to critical areas
- Provide information on zoning, land uses and development designs
LONG RANGE PLANNING
- Create plans for future growth within the community
- Adjust existing plans with community input
- Oversee the annexation process
- Make amendments to the City of Chehalis municipal code and zoning
