Sealed bids for the purchase of a new Vacuum Trailer with Hydraulic Valve Exerciser will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Chehalis, 350 North Market Blvd. Rm 101, Chehalis, WA 98532 until 3:00 PM on  April 3rd 2025. At this time the sealed bids will be publicly opened and read. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid meets the specifications and evaluation criteria set forth the below. The City may reject all bids at its discretion within 45 days after the bid opening. Bids received after the fixed time for opening cannot be considered. The City of Chehalis will set their clock based on www.time.gov 

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by itemized product description(s), unit pricing, total price, delivery terms, payment terms, and warranty details, as they apply to the specific product(s). All bid pricing shall include any freight/delivery charges and sales tax as applicable.

City of Chehalis reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waiver informalities in the bidding.

The product for which bids will be received must meet the minimum specifications outlined as follows:

  • Vacuum Trailer: Minimum of 300-gallon spoils tank.

  • Fresh water: Minimum 75-gallon water tank with low water shut off and Y-strainer filter.

  • Pressure: Minimum 3000 psi.

  • Hydraulic Valve Exerciser: Minimum 800 ft lbs. of torque.

  • Rear Door: Rear door opens with hydraulics.

  • Engine: Deisel.

  • Condition: New.

Please include the following information in your bid submission:

  2. Pricing: Outline the total purchase price, including all applicable taxes, fees, and transportation costs.
  3. Warranty and Maintenance Information: Describe any warranties or service agreements included with the purchase.
  4. Delivery Timeline: Specify the expected delivery date upon acceptance of the bid.
