The Lilly Wall Swim Safe Chehalis Scholarship Fund
The Lilly Wall Swim Safe Chehalis Scholarship Fund was established to honor Lilly Wall, Parks and Recreation Director, who dedicated over 35 years of service to the City of Chehalis. Lilly’s leadership, dedication, and passion for youth safety created a lasting legacy in our community.
Each summer, the Shaw Aquatics Center offers swim lessons to approximately 900 youth across five sessions. Generations of Chehalis families have learned to swim through this successful program. Unfortunately, some families face financial barriers that prevent their children from participating.
Swimming lessons provide lifesaving skills, promote health and wellness, and build confidence and water awareness—giving families peace of mind. This mission reflects Lilly’s lifelong passion for youth safety in and around water.
