The City of Chehalis is seeking a request for proposal from professional engineering or consulting firms with demonstrated experience in parking lot design, civil site work, and pedestrian safety improvements. The selected consultant will provide planning, engineering design, and permitting services for the construction of a 55-stall parking lot at Recreation Park.
A general concept for the proposed parking lot layout has already been developed by City staff to identify the intended location, approximate stall count, and access points. This concept will be shared with the selected consultant as a starting point for design refinement and engineering.
Questions must be submitted via email to Sarah Prok at sprok [at] ci.chehalis.wa.us (sprok[at]ci[dot]chehalis[dot]wa[dot]us) no later than 4:00 pm on April 17, 2026. Submittals are due by 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
The submittal shall be marked “Recreation Parking Lot” Proposals submitted by any means other than email, mailing, or hand delivery will not be accepted. Electronic submittals are encouraged. Please include a "Request delivery receipt" if submitting via email.
