The City of Chehalis (City) is pursuing statements of qualifications for professional services from qualified engineers and architectural team to provide professional services for the feasibility of renovation and restoration of the Historic Fire Station.
The historic Fire Station located at 455 Park Street is approximately 22,000 square feet and was constructed in 1925. The city intends to restore, update, and reoccupy the facility as an active Fire Station while preserving some of its historic character.
The city currently does not utilize this public facility to its fullest potential and is seeking assistance to develop feasibility, predesign, and potentially bridging documents for the procurement of a design build team.
Questions must be submitted via email to afulbright [at] ci.chehalis.wa.us (afulbright[at]ci[dot]chehalis[dot]wa[dot]us) no later than 4:00 pm on June 19, 2026. Submittals are due by 4:00 pm, Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
The submittal shall not exceed 15 pages, single sided, 8 1/2” x 11” pages, including cover letter, resumes can be included in an appendix and do not count towards the page limit. The submittal shall be marked “Historic Fire Station Renovation”. Qualifications submitted by any means other than email, mailing, or hand delivery will not be accepted.
