SEPA-24-001, CU-24-001 16-unit Multifamily Townhome

Notice is hereby given that R & K Adventures LLC, who is the owner for the following proposal, and RB Engineering, who is the applicant for the proposal, has filed an application for a Conditional Use Permit (CU-24-001) to build a 16-unit multi-family townhome development with water and sewer extensions, site lighting, off-street parking, landscaping, and a solid waste enclosure. The site is approximately 1.42-acres fronting on Jackson Highway and development of the site will include 2,570 CY of cut, and 1,650 CY of fill. Material will be brought in from the local DNR approved mining 
operation.

The proposed development is reviewed under the applicable chapters of Title 17 Uniform Development Regulations within the Chehalis Municipal Code. The proposal requires Hearing Examiner approval.

SEPA Environmental Review: The City of Chehalis has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) based on review of the submitted checklist and reports. The Environmental Checklist and other project documents are available on the City’s website under public notices. Permit No. SEPA-24-001 

The optional DNS process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project. Agencies, tribes, and the public are encouraged to review and comment on the proposed project and its probable environmental impacts. Comments must be submitted by 4:30pm on Thursday, April 18, 2024, to the City of Chehalis Community Development Department at 1321 S Market Blvd.,
