Notice of Annual Animal Licensing

It is mandatory that all dogs that are owned, kept or maintained within the City of Chehalis for more than 30 days, and are more than three months of age, be licensed each year. All dog licenses expire December 31st of the year for which it was issued.

Pet Licensing

In order to receive a City of Chehalis Dog License, the pet owner must first supply a current rabies vaccination certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian. A discount will apply to dogs that have been spayed/neutered when proof is presented at time of licensing.

Licenses can be purchased in person at the Chehalis Police Department Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30 pm.

Fees:
      Initial License (Not Spayed/Neutered)- $30
      Initial License (Spayed/Neutered) - $10

      License Renewal (Not Spayed/Neutered) - $15
      License Renewal (Spayed/Neutered) - $5

      Late Fee - $10 extra
